Our farm yard has been created with children in mind. Interactive activities include feeding the farm animals, petting them and just getting up close to be with them and see how they behave. It is a great way for children (and adults) to learn more about farm life.

We currently have a few sheep, pot belly pigs, chickens, horses and our very own milk cow. We actively farm with chickens and plan on increasing the sheep farming quite substantially. We grow most of our own vegetables and often have fresh veggies available that the kids can pick and sample on or feed to the livestock. The veggie garden is another area that we plan on increasing quite substantially.

Nothing goes to waste on the farm. We use all the vegetable scraps to feed the pigs and other livestock and in turn use all their manure to make compost that we then use in the gardens. This way we get very healthy vegetables and plants and with the healthy vegetables, we get healthy livestock. About 90% of all our farming activities are organic and we will only use herbicides or pesticides as a very last resort and then this will also be as nature friendly as can be.
